• Maria receives clear instructions from the carer regarding her medication. The carer explains the dosage and timing of the medication to her in detail
• During the conversation, Maria admits that she is sometimes anxious about taking the medication because she is worried about possible side effects. The carer listens carefully and recognises her concerns.
• The carer senses that Maria is a little reserved. She takes the time to get to know Maria better, talks about her hobbies and thus creates a trusting relationship that goes beyond purely nursing care.
• During the care activities, the carer notices that Maria is trying to carry out some daily activities independently. Maria indirectly expresses her desire for more independence. The carer hears this appeal and adapts the care plan to promote Maria's autonomy.
